UPLYME and Lyme Regis saw their scheduled league fixture against Exmouth Seconds cancelled on Saturday due to the dismal weather.

Both teams receive six points in the league despite the abandonment but this will be of little relief to an Uplyme side who had been fighting against relegation.

Uplyme can now not avoid relegation unless teams scratch remaining games.

Uplyme remain rooted to the foot of the table, with 78 points but are 93 points off Clyst St George in seventh, the last spot for safety away from relegation with four games remaining of the season.

They will now play in E Division East next year and will be joined by two other teams from their league.

Sandford and Countless Wear currently occupy the other two relegation spots, with the latter looking unlikely to survive.
