COLFOX ACADEMY 7
WOODROFFE SCHOOL 1
COLFOX capped another successful season with a victory in the Under-15 West Dorset Schools Final.
The victors, lifted the silverware in Weymouth, to retain the trophy they won as under-14s in 2017.
After soaking up Woodroffe pressure, it was Colfox’s turn to go on the attack.
Jay-Chester Pattinson-Smith guided a corner into box, where Noah Lee-Adler rose to head the ball in to make it 1-0.
A second goal was added from a corner after Ethan Robertson struck a half volley into the bottom corner.
Woodroffe bounced back and, following a goal-line scramble, they reduced the deficit.
However, Colfox soon restored their two-goal lead with a fine strike from Adam Elliott into the far corner, before half-time.
Colfox extended their lead after the break with a penalty before three goals from Barney Sutcliffe, Jacob Hussey and Elliott followed, as Colfox eased to victory.
