BEAMINSTER’s Anouska Loveridge secured first place at the Just for Schools 90cm League Class at the Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre.

Loveridge, 12, was Riding for Perrott Hill School on her pony Arrow Head Quiver and jumped a fast double clear to take the lead in what turned out to be a busy class full of strong competitors.

Speaking afterwards about her performance Anouska said: “Arrow Head Quiver is awesome. I feel he will jump anything I put him at, he never says no and I really trust him.

"I had to ride it to win it and there was a turn fence seven to eight which I knew I had to do, Arrow Head Quiver was amazing and flew it.

“I love Just for Schools because I love the classes and the team spirit and competing with my friends.”

Anouska’s mum Jemma added: “I love that ‘Just for Schools’ can be for teams as well as individuals.”
