OLLIE Mears was honoured after winning all three of the major leagues at West Bay SAC’s annual presentation night.

For the second year running Mears won all three titles; the Rickard Cup and Axminster Cup for best weight and points in the Thursday night series, the Andy Neal Roving Challenge for wining the Saturday night rovers and the Daytime Cup for the Sunday afternoon competitions.

Best lady in shore competitions was June Stokes who picked up the Andy Neal Roving Challenge Ladies' Trophy and the Ladies' Shore Cup.

Best junior in senior shore matches was Eden Lynham who won both the Junior Cup (shore) and the Jake Neal Roving Challenge.

This year's winner in the boat section was Gerry Reed who won not only the Symes Cup but the Boat Champions Shield with Charlie Lawson winning the Junior Cup and the Churchouse Boat Plaque for best junior in boat matches.

The presentation ended with two awards that are highly valued by club members — the Clubman Shield and the President Cup.

Firstly the Clubman Shield which goes to the member who has best supported club events throughout the year and the recipient for 2015 was Craig Horton.

Next the President's Cup, which is presented to the member who the incumbent president considers has done the most work for the club, this years worthy winner was West Bay Water Sports.

The evening finished off with a raffle and the committee would like to thank all those individuals who donated prizes.

The committee would also like to thank Highlands End for the meal, Craig Horton for organising the night and Adam Cullingford for collecting and sorting the trophies.

Chairman Rod Barr started proceedings by thanking all those present for attending the evening at Highlands End, Eype, then vice-president Maureen Jackson presented the honours to the winners.

Lady Champion: Frances Kitchin 46pts.

Junior League: 1 and Match points champion: Nathan McMaster 95pts and 68pts, 2 Ewan Chambers 92pts.
