ENGLAND international Sophie Keech has added the 2014 South West Ladies’ title to her impressive collection of silverware.
The 18-year-old former Lyme Regis resident, who now lives in Axminster, beat Lauren Pearce (Exminster) in the final of the four-round knockout stage at Mendip Golf Club.
Keech, who finished runner-up in last year’s corresponding fixture, was presented with the Hulleat Salver.
She also won the 36-hole strokeplay qualifier with rounds of 76 and 75.
Runner-up in the strokeplay competition was Broadstone’s Kyra Horlock with rounds of 75 and 77.
Among Keech’s collection of trophies this year is the Astor Salver, which she won at The Berkshire last month.
She will now defend her English Open Amateur Championship crown at The Warwickshire Golf and Country Club next week.
