High Fives for Loders after county tournament

COURT CHAMPIONS: Loders School COURT CHAMPIONS: Loders School

LODERS School won this year’s West Dorset High Five Finals, held at Beaminster School.

The event was organised by Irene Fairley of West Dorset Sports Part-nership and pupils from Beaminster and Budmouth Schools.

Six teams took part in the final event, each qualifying through earlier rounds held within their school clusters before Christmas.

It was a hard-fought contest, with Loders remaining undefeated throughout the tournament.

Loders played last year’s winners Salway Ash in the final game, beating them narrowly 1-0.

Loders now qualify for the county finals, where they will represent West Dorset at Canford School, Bournemouth, at the end of March.
