A popular Lyme Regis event has been cancelled due to 'escalating costs'.
Organisers posted the news of the cancellation on their Twitter page yesterday.
The Marine Theatre, where the event has been held for several years, has also confirmed the cancellation on their Facebook page.
A spokesman wrote: "Sadly the Lyme Regis Beer Festival due to be held here next month has been cancelled. If you have bought a ticket, please contact the vendor for a refund."
Sadly we have had to cancel this year's festival. The decision has been made after escalating costs have made continuing the event in it’s current format and location impossible to justify.
