The body of a man was recovered from Monmouth Beach in Lyme Regis this morning.
Dorset Police confirmed the man was identified as a missing person from Exeter and that his family have been notified. A member of the public found the body at around 9am this morning.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at just after 9am this morning that the body of a man was found on Monmouth Beach at Lyme Regis. The body has been recovered. The coroner has been notified and the death is not being treated as suspicious."
