FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a blaze at a pub in Lyme Regis.
Crews from Lyme Regis and Bridport were called at 10.50am to the Volunteer Inn after receiving a report of a chimney fire from a member of the public.
Dorset Police were also called to assist with road closures.
A spokesman from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, said: "We had two crews at the scene and the aerial ladder platform from Weymouth was also called to the incident as it involved a three-storey building.
"The last of the fire was put out by 1.50pm. Police and fire crews used a nearby address to gain access to the roof.
"The last crew left the scene by 2.30pm."
Broad Street and Pound Street, between Cobb Road and Silver Street were closed in order for emergency services to deal with the incident but have now re-opened.
A spokesman from Dorset Police, said: "We were called at 10.52am by the fire service to Broad Street, Lyme Regis.
"We were attending to assist with a road closure. The road was closed between Haye Lane and the main road through Lyme Regis."
