AN elderly man was taken to hospital after falling from a ladder.
The Devon Air Ambulance was called to Charmouth Road in Lyme Regis this afternoon after the man in his 80s suffered a head injury.
The helicopter was not needed, but the man was taken to hospital by land ambulance.
A spokeswoman for South Western Ambulance Service, said: "We were called to a man in his 80s who had fallen from a ladder at a private address along Charmouth Road at 2pm.
"It is possible he could have fallen about 10 feet.
"The air ambulance and another ambulance attended the incident. He was taken to the Royal Exeter and Devon Hospital by land ambulance after suffering a head injury."
