A LYME Regis company has been named a winner of national travel award.

Toad Hall Cottages took the prize of the UK's best medium self-catering agency at the 2015 British Travel Awards.

The company has an office in Lyme Regis, along with in Kingsbridge in Devon, Cornwall and the New Forest.

Representatives from Toad Hall Cottages picked up the award at a gala awards dinner at Battersea Evolution in London, in front of almost 1,000 guests from the travel industry.

James Norton, of Toad Hall Cottages, said “We are delighted to receive this prestigious award, especially as we were up against some much larger agencies across the UK.

"Our second winners award in three years, with a runner-up in between, is a real testament to our team who always go out of their way to make every guest’s stay as enjoyable as possible.

"I’m delighted that the hard work has paid off and the award will help cement our reputation as the area’s largest and best agency.”

Toad Hall Cottages was established in 1988 and offers a wide range of cottages across west Dorset, including the Bridport and Lyme Regis area.

The British Travel Awards (BTAs) is an independent organisation, audited by leading global accountancy practitioners Deloitte.
