A COASTAL Community Team (CCT) will ask for public help in forming an economic plan for a west Dorset area.
The Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Uplyme CCT will hold the event at Woodmead Halls on Thursday, December 10.
Earlier this year, the Government invited all coastal areas to form CCTs, of which just over 100 bids were successful.
The Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Uplyme team received a grant of £10,000, which will be used for immediate local projects and to help develop an economic plan.
Adrian Ragbourne, co-ordinator of the CCT, said: "The Coastal Community Team has been busy working for a couple of months now.
"We now have a draft economic plan, so we welcome the opportunity to share our thinking with members of our community. We will share our provisional shortlist of projects that we will be seeking funding for, and explain how we will move forward from here.
"The meeting is a chance for the public to have their say and sure that we're respecting their views."
From next year, there will be an opportunity to submit bids for larger-scale projects.
The CCT includes representatives from Lyme Regis Town Council, Charmouth and Uplyme parish councils, members of the business community, as well as the general public.
The public consultation will be hosted by LymeForward, as part of their quarterly meeting. The meeting will take place at 2pm on Thursday, December 10 at Woodmead Halls.
