Church Street, Lyme Regis
AN HOURLY shuttle bus service will operate in Lyme Regis while services are disrupted by a road closure.
Church Street is currently closed until Friday, October 23 so work can take place on a property.
With the road closed for six weeks, First Bus is not running buses, including the X31, to the town. A First Bus spokesperson said that the closure was put in place by Dorset County Council’s highways department without prior consultation with them.
From Monday, September 28 until Friday, October 23, First and Travel Dorset will be providing an hourly shuttle service between Lyme Regis and Axminster.
The shuttle service will operate from Monday to Saturday until Church Street is reopened following the work.
