A 46-YEAR-OLD woman has been arrested after crashing a car into the wall of a property in Lyme Regis.
The incident took place on Pound Road at approximately 6pm this evening, Wednesday April 22, and police say the car caused minor damage to the wall.
The car has been recovered from the scene but Pound Road will remain closed while oil is cleared from the road.
A statement from the Bridport, Beaminster and Lyme Regis Safer Neighbourhood Teams said: “A 46-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving whilst unfit, after providing a positive roadside breath sample.”
