LYME REGIS: A creative writing workshop will kick off the Lyme Regis Literary Festival next week.
The first event will take place on Tuesday, February 10, between 10am and noon, at Hix Oyster and Fish House – where founders of Invigorwrite Janis Lane and Phil Whitehead will present the workshop.
The event is suitable for all adults, from absolute beginners to more experienced writers.
Those taking part will enjoy an introduction to Flash Fiction, participate in fun writing exercises and gather tips on how to get in the writing habit.
Published writers Janis and Phil have experience of teaching, running workshops and giving demonstrations in various community and educational spheres.
Their company Invigorwrite encourages confidence and communication through creative writing, offering a range of workshops to adults, children of all ages and businesses.
The Lyme Regis workshop will give those taking part the chance to leave with their own piece of flash fiction, fresh ideas and the confidence to write.
To reserve your place and for more information, please email janis.lane@ invigorwrite.com Booking is essential and those taking part should bring a notebook and a pen.
The Lyme Regis Literacy Festival takes place between February 10 and 15 at various locations across the town.
