Appeal for witnesses after thieves broke into two properties
LYME REGIS: Police are appealing for witnesses after thieves broke into two properties.
At just after 5pm on Friday, January 30, the door of a property under renovation along Pound Street was forced – setting off an alarm, meaning the burglars left empty handed.
A patio window was then smashed at 6.40pm at a Sidmouth Road property and a search carried out by the offenders. It is not thought anything was taken.
Witnesses or anyone with information about two men wearing dark clothing scaling a wall along Sidmouth Road should contact Dorset Police on 101.
