Man taken to hospital after car hits tree in Lyme Regis
A MOTORIST has been taken to hospital after his car hit a tree in Lyme Regis.
The incident took place shortly before 9.45pm last night, Tuesday July 29, in Lyme near the Sidmouth Road Park and Ride site.
Emergency services including Dorset Police and the ambulance service attended the scene.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service said there were believed to be no serious injuries as a result of the incident, but that one man had been taken to Dorset County Hospital with a neck injury.
