A CRASH involving two vehicles closed a road in Lyme Regis.
The collision between a red Ford Mondeo and a silver Peugeot Expert van took place shortly before 9am this morning near Sidmouth Road, and was reported to police at 9.05am.
As a result of the crash, Sidmouth Road was closed in both directions between the Shire Lane junction and the Gore Lane junction.
There are believed to be no serious injuries and the road remained closed until approximately midday due to the damage to the vehicles and recovery.
Lyme Regis PCSO John Burton told The News: “There are no serious injuries as a result of the collision but one man, the driver of the Ford Mondeo, was treated by paramedics at the scene for shock and chest pains."
