A DOG had to be rescued by Coastguards after falling over the edge of a cliff.
Portland Coastguard was alerted to the incident shortly before 11am yesterday, March 5, when a King Charles Spaniel had gone over the edge at Cains Folly in Charmouth.
Lyme Regis Coastguards were then tasked to attend the incident and the dog was recovered unhurt and safely returned to its owner.
