Looking back on Lyme Regis
Lyme Regis Museum will be holding an exhibition in the town's library charting the history of Broad Street.
Called "Butcher, Baker, Candlestick maker", they will display pictures of how the town has changed with pictures dating back to the 1940s, 50s and 60s.
The exhibition will be a one day event as part of this year's ArtsFest and is organised by Ken Gollop.
The picture, one of many that will be displayed at the exhibition, shows what Broad Street used to look like in the 1950s, when you could buy everything you needed from the same street, and when parking was allowed all along the street, one day on one side and the next day on the other.
It will start at 2pm on Monday, September 23, at the library on Silver Street and will finish until 5pm
