SCHOOL uniform has been abandoned today as pupils celebrate Comic Relief.

Pupils and staff at St Michael's Primary School in Lyme Regis paid a donation to dress as something beginning with the letters of Red Nose.

Among the costumes were an Easter bunny, a daisy and Spiderman.

There is a sea of red of Mrs Ethelston's Primary School in Uplyme where pupils have dressed in the colour and paid £1 for the privilege.

Pupils and staff at Charmouth Primary School also dressed in red and raised extra funds by holding a cake sale.
