Iconic Bell Cliff in Lyme Regis undergoes renovation

THE iconic Bell Cliff in Lyme Regis has undergone renovation.

The refurbishments, including ground resurfacing and work on the railings and benches, were funded by Lyme Regis Town Council.

External works supervisor Elliott Herbert is pleased with the job done by Hansford Construction.

He said: “It’s made Bell Cliff once again a safe and stunning area of the town.”

It was also a job well done according to local business owners and residents of the town. Shop owner and resident Hilary Highet said: “It’s done in a beautiful way with an impressive quality which will last for years to come.”

David McLean from the William Pelly Gallery said he has received many positive comments from residents and tourists. The town awaits the return of the cannon, which will arrive very shortly.
