Lyme Regis council vacancy published

NOTICE has been given of a vacancy on Lyme Regis Town Council following the death of former mayor Barbara Austin.
The returning officer from West Dorset District Council has this week published the notice outlining that an election will be held if requested by 10 electors by February 4.
If an election is called it will take place no later than April 11.
Otherwise, the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
Requests for an election must be made in writing to DM Clarke, Returning Officer, Stratton House, 58/60 High West Street, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1UZ.
