CONCERNS have been raised over proposals to put more double yellow lines outside the Woodroffe School.
Parents are regularly parking dangerously and illegally outside the school as they drop off and pick up their children.
They are waiting for long periods of time on double yellow lines and dropping them off on the zig zag lines or while waiting at the zebra crossing.
Now Lyme Regis Town Council is arranging a meeting with Dorset County Council, local police and the Woodroffe School to discuss measures to improve road safety.
But town councillors fear this will move the problem elsewhere.
Coun George Symonds said: “People are going to pick children up regardless of what happens. If you just keep putting yellow lines down that’s going to move the problem down the road.”
