More and more local businesses are getting involved in a water refill scheme.

Sladers Yard on West Bay Road is the most recent business to sign up to the Refill Dorset scheme.

The art gallery joins about 15 other local businesses taking part in the Litter Free Coast and Sea-backed scheme.

It is a practical tap water campaign that aims to make refilling your bottle as easy, convenient and cheap as possible by introducing refill points on every street.

Businesses, cafés, shops and hotels have been invited to take part in the scheme, with about 15 refill stations currently set up in the nearby Bridport area alone.

The scheme is run by Litter Free Coast and Sea, with the help of the Dorset Wildlife Trust.

Sladers Yard joins the Blue Moon Café, Costa Coffee, No.10 Café Bar, Aroma Coffee House, Bull Hotel, BearKat Bistro, The Green Yard Café, Red Brick Café and Baboo Gelato in providing the service.

Business not involved in the scheme so far are welcome to join.

There is no need to install water coolers or stop selling bottled water, you simply need to promote

and offer free tap water refills to your customers and display a window sticker.
