EMERGENCY services have been called following a crash between a car and a motorcyclist on the A35.
Shortly after 4pm a black Mercedes, registered to an Exmouth address, collided with a grey Yamaha motorbike, registers to a person from Dorchester, on Axminster Road in Charmouth.
Fire fighters from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue service are currently tending to the motorbike rider on the scene and awaiting the arrival of the ambulance.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 4.02pm to a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the roundabout near Wood Farm Caravan Park. We are still on the scene tending to debris on the carriage way.”
The extent of injuries is currently unknown.
No road closures have been put in place although there are reports of slow traffic along the A3052.
