SHOPPERS can enjoy free parking in Bridport this Christmas.
The initiative will run throughout December in a joint project by Bridport Business Chamber and West Dorset District Council (WDDC).
The afternoon free parking is valid from 1pm, for a maximum of two hours per day.
The free parking is available in short stay car parks only, located on East Street, Wykes Court (Rax Lane), Rope Walks and South Street.
Steve Lincoln, President of Bridport Business Chamber, said: "This is a generous offer from WDDC, which we know locals, retailers and visitors really appreciate, and helps boost local Christmas shopping in Bridport".
The free afternoon festive parking has also been run in previous years.
