IT’S the season to be jolly (well, almost) and when there’s no better excuse to have a big party – if your company hits the right chord.

This Saturday, November 26, Lyme Regis based music charity B Sharp will play host to its ever-popular annual party at the Marine Theatre.

Each year the event enables young people, families, friends and supporters of the charity to get together to celebrate the past year of great music making across the region.

Starting with cool cabaret style performances from local soloists, party goers can get in the mood with top quality live music performed by young people from the Bridport Jams, Lyme Regis based Hub Jams and Boombox.

Special guests Mr Jèan will take to the stage with a funky set to round off the fun night of great music with their energetic, groove based hits.

The B Sharp Party is the latest in a string of successful music events put on by the charity this year, including the recent ONE concert at Lighthouse, Poole, the Busking Festival and Big Mix in Lyme Regis.

The charity is passionate about providing entertainment in the local area whilst providing flourishing young musicians a stage on which to showcase and progress their skills.

The theatre bar will also be open throughout the evening.

B Sharp music leaders are enthusiastic about inspiring others, with many being ex B Sharp participants who share a love of music and the B Sharp ‘way of working’.

The charity operate a skills cascade training model with clear pathways of progression for both participants and their music leaders.

The party is open to everyone and proceeds from the event will go towards continuing the charitable work at B Sharp; building a sound future for young people.
