A Caravan was set alight on the A35 last night in a suspected arson attack.
Fire crews were called to a layby between Morecombelake and Chideock at 8.47pm last night to reports of a caravan fire.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered sheds, a fence and a hedgerow were also engulfed by flames.
Fire crews from Charmouth, Bridport, and Beaminster fire stations extinguished the fire using two ground monitors and two hose reel jets.
A spokesman Dorset Police said: “Police were called to the incident at 9.10pm last night. Upon arrival, there was nobody at the scene and no injuries were sustained.
“It is currently suspected to be arson and officers are investigating.”
