VOTERS will head to the polls today to elect a member onto Lyme Regis Town Council.
The by-election was called after Liz Robinson resigned from the authority in March due to work commitments.
Former mayor of Lyme Regis Ken Dibben is going head-to-head with experienced businessman Jeff Scowen for a place on the council.
Polls opened at 7am and will close at 10pm - with polling stations situated at Woodmead Halls and Hallett Court Communal Room, Queens Walk.

Voting done ❌ for the Town Council vacancy. Count tonight at the Woodmead Halls my guess less than a 1000 to count with a result by 11ish

Whatever the outcome of this election I should like to thank Ken Dibben for standing in order that this contest should take place. Such fun!
