CONCERNS are mounting over a missing man who may have travelled to Dorset.

Jack Broughton, 28, was last seen at his home in Leyland, Lancashire at around 8pm yesterday.

Police believe he is in the Leyland area, though he has connections with Dorset and Cornwall.

He is described as white, slim, around 6ft tall with shaved brown hair.

On his upper right arm he has a tattoo of a rose and a bird with the word 'bitter' and on his left, a bird with the word 'sweet'.

When he disappeared he is believed to have been wearing black cargo trousers, a black long-sleeve top, a grey Superdry jacket with orange trims and green, skater-style trainers.

PC Lee Tickle, of Lancashire Police, said: “We are extremely concerned about Jack as his disappearance is completely out of character.

“We are now appealing to anyone who sees Jack or knows where he might be to get in touch with us.

“I’d also urge Jack himself, if he sees this appeal, to get in touch to let us know he is safe and well.”

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting log number 390 of June 1.
