TWO people were injured after a crash in Lyme Regis.
Emergency services were called to Anning Road just after 2pm today following a collision between a Mini Cooper and a Ford Ka.
Two people were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
A spokesman from South Western Ambulance Service Trust, said: “We were called at 2.15pm to a two-car road traffic collision.
“It looks like there were two casualties, both with minor injuries. It doesn’t look like they will need to be taken to hospital.”
Firefighters were also sent to the scene after it was initially thought one person had been trapped in a vehicle.
A spokeswoman from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, said: “We were called to the junction of Queens Walk and Anning Road in Lyme.
“Two crews, one from Lyme Regis and one from Charmouth were sent to the scene.
“Originally they thought somebody was trapped in one of the cars, but by the time we arrived, the person was out of the vehicle.
“We were able to help with making the scene safe.”
A spokeswoman from Dorset Police said the road had not been closed but officers were still at the scene, assisting with recovery work.
