As well as a chance to pick up some rare records, guests enjoyed live music, birthday cake and even a bit of Cava.

Steph Garner, from Bridport Music, has hailed the day as a success.

She said: “It was amazing. We had a really good day.

“You always worry that no one is going to come but it was great.”

Enthusiasts once again queued from around 2am to make sure they got their hands on the rare releases.

There was even an appearance from a local famous face as Billy Bragg popped in to the store.

Despite some early morning jitters, Steph was happy with how it went.

She said: “Sometimes the first couple of hours you don’t lift your head up from the till, this year the main flurry was the first hour.

“However, it just sort of stayed busy all day, there was just a lot more people, everyone is aware of it now.

“They like to come for the live music and the cake and the party atmosphere.

“It’s quite nerve wracking, we invest a lot in to it in time and effort alone.”
