THE AIR AMBULANCE has been called to an incident in Symondsbury, near Colmer's Hill.
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service said they had were called at 7.55am to a person with a fractured ankle.
They added the air ambulance had been called due to the remote location.
They said: "It looks like it was a runner who fell and fractured their ankle.
"A land ambulance and the air ambulance attended, and the person was flown to Dorset County Hospital for treatment."
