POLICE are appealing for witnesses after £4000 worth of clothing and jewellery were stolen from a shop in Lyme Regis.
The incident took place overnight on July 18 and thieves gained entry to the shop by smashing a window, police have said.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Frills based on Marine Parade, Lyme Regis had a window smashed overnight on Friday July 18.
“Clothing and jewellery amounting to £4000 was taken from the shop during the burglary.”
Anyone who saw or heard anything in the area at the time is asked to contact Dorset Police on 101, quoting crime number 29281.
