A 17-YEAR-OLD Bridport girl ended up in intensive care after taking a Class A illegal drug known as 2CI.
The girl was found unconscious before being taken by ambulance to Dorset County Hospital.
In a separate incident another teenage girl admitted herself into accident and emergency at the county town hospital at the weekend, said Bridport Police Inspector Mike Darby.
The drugs – in the form of a blue tablet – are hallucinogenic and highly dangerous, he said.
Police believe a batch of the Class A hallucinogenic drug is now circulating the town and are warning youngsters not to take them.
“This girl could have died,” said Insp Darby.
Police are also appealing for anyone in possession of these tablets to hand them in to police so they can be analysed or dispose of them.
