CHEEKY grins and giggles will be the order of the day when the camera gets clicking for the Bridport and Lyme Regis News 2014 Child of the Year photo competition.

This year’s top prize for the overall winner is a magnificent canvas print, a certificate and a £50 gift voucher.

The remaining category winners will receive a mounted print of their winning picture, a certificate and a £25 gift voucher.

All children aged up to six can take part and be in with a chance of winning.

Last year’s Child of the Year 2013 and ‘up to nine months old’ winner was a chuckling Ocean Gumbrill.

Other category winners were: ten to 18 months – Devon Cuff, 18 to 35 months – Corey Roach, and three to six years – Rafferty Stone.

To enter the competition, simply attend Fraser Portraits’ mini studio on Saturday, April 5 from 9am to 5pm at the Bridport Children’s Centre in Skilling Hill, Bridport.

The Children’s Centre provides activities, support and advice for all children under seven years old and their families.

At Fraser Portraits’ mini-studio Child of the Year entrants will have a minimum of two pictures taken.

There will be the opportunity to return at a later date to choose the picture to enter into the contest and purchase images at the same time.

Simply cut out the entry coupon in today’s paper, where you can see the competition rules and present it to the Fraser Portraits’ representative at the mini-studio on Saturday.

All photos will be printed in the Bridport and Lyme Regis News on Thursday, April 24 and readers will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite by phone, text, or on a special coupon in the Bridport and Lyme Regis News.

A panel of judges will then choose the winner from the shortlist the readers have selected.
