Firefighters called to blaze in Puncknowle

Firefighters were called to a property fire in Puncknowle this morning.
It happened at 6.30am and officers found smoke coming from the eaves of the house on Rectory Lane.
A spokeswoman for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said: "The fire was located on the ground floor of the property and crews from Weymouth and Bridport used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to put out the fire.
"Crews were clear from the scene by 7.30am."
