Mexico beckons for pair

HAPPILY EVER AFTER: The wedding of Laura-Jane Challis and Philip David Gall
A sunshine honeymoon in Cancun in Mexico followed the wedding of Laura-Jane Challis and Philip David Gall at the Alexandra Hotel in Lyme Regis .
Laura-Jane is the only daughter of Donna and Paul Challis and Philip is the second son of Pat and Barry Gall.
The bride, who wore a strapless gown in ivory organza and carried a bouquet of pink cabbage roses, dahlias and cornflowers, was given away by her father.
She was attended by her daughter Abigail Challis, who wore a 1950s style dress with contrasting cerise petticoat.
The maid of honour was the bride’s best friend Charlotte Kidston, who wore a Pippa Middleton style dress.
Both carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
The best man was the groom’s best friend Neil Coombes and his ushers were Philip’s brothers Terry and Kevin Gall.
The ceremony was followed by a reception for 40 family members and close friends.
The bride made her own wedding cakes, which were iced by friend Wendy Teal.
An evening reception followed attended by 120 guests.
