DORSET County Council and the Environment Agency are holding flood drop-in sessions.
One will be held today, Wednesday August 8, at Bridport Town Council Offices, Mountfield, from 2pm to 6.30pm.
The surgeries are a chance for residents and businesses that have either been affected by the flooding or have concerns about flooding to share their views.
It will also give the county council and Environment Agency the opportunity to gather information about the recent floods.
People who attend the sessions are invited to bring photographs, video clips or notes taken during the floods.
The council said that it is a chance for residents not only from Bridport but also from the surrounding area to talk to officers.
The aim is to help the council and agency to build a picture of events to see what could possibly be done to be better prepared in future.
Further sessions are being organised in Maiden Newton, Dorchester, Charmouth and Weymouth but the dates are yet to be confirmed.
