PUPILS brought their favourite stories to life on World Book Day in West Dorset.
The primary school youngsters and staff dressed as their favourite characters for the annual initiative to encourage reading.
Schools which joined in the fun included Salway Ash Primary School, St Mary’s in Beaminster, Symondsbury Primary School, St Mary’s in Thorncombe and Sunny Days Nursery in Bridport.
Characters included Tintin, The Frog Princess, Cinderella, pirates, Alice in Wonderland, Oliver Twist, Harry Potter and Robin Hood.
