YESTERDAY I started the Stepping Out cancer rehab programme at the Leisure Centre in Bridport. I came out of the session feeling invigorated.
The exercises are tailored to what one is capable of; there was music playing, the other people there were friendly and just got on with the exercises, you could see their keenness to have a go.
It all made for a great atmosphere.
It struck me today that but for the generosity of local and national organisations and the hard work of the staff who run the programme, Jo and Richard, that none of this would be happening and so I wanted to say a big thank you to all those who have already supported Stepping Out with donations and for those who might be thinking of doing so in the future.
I can assure you that it really does make a difference to people’s lives.
