Road blocked following motorcycle crash
A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash in Bridport.
Dorset Police were called shortly before 3pm to reports of a crash between a silver Yamaha motorbike registered to a Beaminster man and a Blue Nissan Leaf, registered to a man from Bristol.
The two vehicles collided on the junction of St Katherine’s Drive and St Andrew’s Street.
The ambulance service attended and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital as a precaution, although it is not believed anyone was seriously injured.
The road was partially blocked while emergency services were on the scene and was all cleared by 4.45pm.
