A MAN has been arrested after police raided a property in Bridport this morning.
At around 9am, Bridport police officers, assisted by specialist officers, carried out the action at an address at Shoe Lane in the town.
A spokesman for Bridport Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “This address was believed to be linked to supply of controlled drugs.
“Inside the property were two individuals who were detained within the property.
“The latest intervention is part of Bridport police’s ongoing operation to target people who we suspect are involved in the supply of illegal drugs, and to tackle the users who bring the associated violence, crime and anti-social behaviour to the town.”
A Dorset Police spokeswoman confirmed a 31-year-old man from Bridport was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug.
