BEACONS were lit across west Dorset to mark The Queen’s 90th birthday.
More than 1,000 beacons were lit across the UK to mark the occasion on Thursday evening.
In west Dorset, beacons were lit in Lyme Regis, Bridport, Charmouth, Dorchester and at Throncombe Beacon on the Golden Cap Estate.
