JAZZ fans flocked to Lyme Regis to enjoy this year’s Jazz and Blues Weekend.

Despite the notable absence of the umbrella parade, musicians from B Sharp livened up festivities with their busking event throughout Saturday.

In the evening, 70s blues-rock diva Maggie Bell and Dave Kelly, acclaimed blues guitarist and founder member of The Blues Band, thrilled a large crowd with an acoustic setof soulful blues supported by Half Jack.

For the festival’s final evening, the Marine Theatre's was packed to the rafters and the audience enjoyed rocked their socks off during a blistering performance from Canvey Island rockers Dr Feelgood.

who ended with a rip-roaring, foot-stomping full-on set The Philip Clouts Trio and Tony Roberts Quartet completed the festival playlist with their renderings of contemporary and Latin jazz. and proving that jazz and food are matched in heaven, The jazz BBQ on Friday night at Mariners Hotel and the jazz brunch at By the Bay on Sunday morning both sold out.
