Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses after a Lyme Regis jewellery store was raided overnight.
A spokesman said: "In the early hours of April 20 thieves entered the Crystal jewellery shop in Broad Street, Lyme Regis, and stole an as-yet unspecified amount of stock.
"Entry was gained via a ground floor display window which had been forced open, breaking the wooden frame and glass.
"Damage was also caused to the door of the next door restaurant, The Bell Cliff."
A Dorset Police spokesman said no arrests have been made.
Police are appealing to anyone who saw a dark-coloured car arriving at the Cobb Gate bus stop just after 1am on April 20.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Dorset Police on 101 and ask for PC Kirsti Ball, quoting crime number 16721.
