There are reports the road between Pymore Lane and Ash Lane in Wooth, near Bridport, is closed due to a fallen tree and downed power lines.
Dorset County Council service Travel Dorset released this update on the situation via Twitter:
@thebridportnews Yes, we need to work with power companies to assess the status of the overhead lines which have become entangled.

A spokesman for Western Power Distribution confirmed a tree was down on that road.
They said WPD are responsible for overhead power cables in the area but added: "The tree is not touching our cables. Our engineers are on-site now and our cables are not affected."
A spokesman for Dorset County Council said the road could be closed until next Wednesday to fix the problems caused by the fallen tree.
They said: "Knighton Country Management are on site clearing the tree today. It brought down a number of cables as it fell which we believe are low voltage power lines, which have complicated matters somewhat.
"We are expecting the road to be open again on Wednesday but if we can we will endeavour to open it before then."
