WEST Dorset: A West Bexington man’s condition is said to be ‘satisfactory’ after he was airlifted from his home to hospital on Saturday suffering from burns to his face and arm.

Eonne Sinclair was treated by paramedics before being air lifted to the specialist burns unit at Salisbury Hospital.

Eye-witness Rob Quincey, who was working next door to Mr Sinclair’s home in West Bexington, said: “We heard a woosh and then a guy screamed for help. We went round to see if we could help.

“He looked pretty bad.

“His family was there and they called the ambulance and we left them to it.

“All we know they were trying to burn something in the corner of the garden with petrol. There was a petrol can there and the rate of the fire it was pretty obvious that’s what happened.”
