POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist failed to stop following a collision in Bridport.
The cyclist, a man aged between 50 and 60, was travelling down Skilling Hill Road in Bridport when he lost control of his bicycle and collided with a red Ford KA waiting at the give way line in Alexandra Road.
The man came off his bicycle but declined medical treatment and cycled off, leaving no details.
He was riding a bright green mountain bike and was wearing a black leather jacket.
Police Constable Sara Mackay, of Bridport police, said: “I believe the cyclist suffered a bump to his head following the collision and I urge him to please call me on 101.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident to get in contact with me.”
The incident happened at 8.02am on Wednesday 12 November 2014 in Alexandra Road at the junction with Skilling Hill Road.
